In Banhine National Park, there is a horde of abandoned trucks that was once used to collect and cart off poached animals. As commercial poachers usually have to travel some distance from the bush to the city – where they sell animals off to markets – access to vehicles is essential. Finding and confiscating them is an important step in preventing tragedies like this one.
