Born and raised in the Netherlands and trained as an Environmental Engineer and Physical Geographer, Lilian spent much of her initial career in remote areas in the Amazon, the Andes and the Philippines. Her 20-year journey working in nature conservation and sustainable development has provided extensive experience in connecting funding at scale to programmes that deliver clear impact.
